זהו בהחלט צירוף מקרים אך חלונות הראווה של Louis Vuitton מופיעים לא מעט בבלוג. אמנם לא מדובר בבית אופנה אהוב אך המבחינה שיווקית וויזואלית מדובר בחברה מעניית ללא ספק.

הפעם לא יכולתי שלא לכתוב על שיתוף הפעולה של בית האופנה עם האמנית הנודעת Yayoi Kusama. את עבודותיה של Kusama הכרתי עוד בזמן לימודיי במילאנו, בזכות תערוכה מרתקת. בימים אלה, מציגה תערוכה שונה, אך לא פחות מרתקת במזואון Whitney’s בניו יורק.

כיאה לסגנונה המוכר כיסתה האמנית, שמתגוררת כבר כ-30 שנה בבית חולים פסיכיאטרי ביפן את התיקים, הבגדים והנעליים של Louis Vuitton בנקודות.

אסור לצלם בתערוכה, אך לכבוד שני המאורעות תיעדתי את חלונות הראווה של Louis Vuitton שכוללים גם בובת שעווה של האמנית.

It is definitely a coinsedence but I do feature a lot of Louis Vuitton in the blog. While I am not very attached to the company’s products, I do have a lot of appreciation for the it’s marketing and visual aspects.

This time, I couldn’t ignore the collaboration of the brand with the renown artist Yayoi Kusama. I was first introduced to her work during my studies in Milan, through a fascinating exhibition. These days, a different, but not less interesting exhibition is showing at Whitney’s Museum in New York  and I definitely recommend it.

For both occasions I decided to feature some images of Louis Vuitton window displays dedicated to the collaboration, which include a live sized wax doll of the artist.
